November 19, 2012: Duncan, the sixth and last Destroyer type 45, built by BAE Systems, Scotstoun shipyard left the company on 16 November to start its second round of tests to be performed on the high seas on the west coast of Scotland.
During the next 19 days at sea, Duncan will go through an extensive test program, including the final tests of force systems and propulsion of the ship, the combat systems, as well as the navigation and communication skd equipment before delivery to Royal Navy in March next year.
