The new containership, which was constructed by the shipyard Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding Co, is the first of a series that will be built using the design SAVER way of Seaspan. The ship has a new hull design with higher performance and lower fuel consumption, developed by MARIN and Research Institute and maritime planning of China (MARIC).
