Four MPs part of an international delegation mundra port to monitor the presidential election in Tajikistan on Wednesday, November 6. Margaret Cederfelt (M) has been appointed leader of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly delegation.
The delegation to observe the elections go as part of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe). Margaret mundra port Cederfelt (M) has been appointed leader of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly delegation and Gordana Comic, parliamentarians from Serbia, has been appointed as Special Coordinator for OSCE chairmanship.
The election takes place in cooperation with the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR). The European Parliament is represented by observers. The members are part of a total of 150 short-term observers who are on the site in connection with the election to ensure that elections are conducted in a fair and transparent manner. Their task is to monitor the actual election in various polling stations where ballots left and counting occurs.
On Thursday, November 7 held a press conference in Dushanbe on the experience of the election.
